(L.A.) Hasani Sherrod, 2, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a two-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the child as Hasani Sherrod.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

RIP HASANI SHERROD (April 27, 2023 – July 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 3.
