RIP GREGORIO ISIORDIA JR. (January 12, 1985 – August 24, 2021)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
Individuals taking both opioids (like fentanyl) and benzodiazepines (like alprazolam) have a 10 times higher risk of fatal overdose compared to those taking opioids alone.
Concurrent use of fentanyl and alprazolam (Xanax) poses severe dangers due to their synergistic effects on the central nervous system.
Both fentanyl and alprazolam are central nervous system depressants that can cause respiratory depression and extreme sedation.
