(L.A.) Greggory Casillas, 30, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Greggory Casillas.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Aguilar.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Intermediate-Range Gunshot Wound of the Head

RIP GREGGORY JONATHAN CASILLAS (April 22, 1987 – March 9, 2018)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:31 p.m.

The decedent was a Pomona police officer. He was killed by Isaias De Jesus Valencia, who in May 2024 would be convicted of the crime.
