(L.A.) Gor Adamyan, 4, Died From Gunfire

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 4-year-old male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the child as Gor Adamyan.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Abdomen

The decedent was fatally shot during a road rage drive-by attack in Lancaster.

LASD says the shooting occurred at around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Sierra Highway and East Avenue J.

Preliminary investigation found that a driver cut off a vehicle that was carrying the boy, his father and his mother. That driver then began following the family’s vehicle through surface streets.

When the second driver slowed down, the suspect pulled up along the passenger side of the victim’s car and began firing shots. The boy, seated in the back seat, was hit by gunfire.

The parents rushed their son to a hospital where he would eventually expire.

Investigators located the suspects’ vehicle in the immediate area of the shooting and arrested a 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.

No one else was injured.
