Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 74-year-old Black female that occurred in a rehabilitation center.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Gilda Hamilton.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:38 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 1.
