(L.A.) George Dobbs, 15, Died on the 710 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old “Latino” male that occurred on the 710 Freeway.
The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as George Dobbs of Long Beach, California.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:30 a.m.
A student at Lakewood High School, the decedent was among FIVE people killed in an early-morning crash on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach.
The single-vehicle accident was reported at 4:12 a.m. on the northbound 710 at the transition to the southbound 91 Freeway.
The black Hyundai Sonata crashed into an attenuator on the 710 Freeway and burst into flames, according to the California Highway Patrol. A sixth person in the car was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
Apparently, there were six people in a car that could only seat five, so not everyone was wearing a seatbelt.
