Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Black male that occurred at an intensive care unit.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gary Jackson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Multiorgan Failure

Cause of Death B: Small Bowel Ischemia

Cause of Death C: Mesenteric Band Herniation

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Alcohol Effects; Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
