(L.A.) Gabriel Rodriguez, 23, Died in Baldwin Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle outside a residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Gabriel Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:47 p.m.

Baldwin Park police had responded to North Larry Avenue and Nubia Street, where they found the decedent inside an SUV.

Video from the scene showed a SWAT vehicle near the shooting site early Friday morning. Candles were also visible near the SUV.
