The coroner’s office identified the man as Frederick Lopez and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Latino.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:52 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
