(L.A.) Frances Valdez, 25, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Frances Valdez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Acetyl Fentanyl and Fentanyl

RIP FRANCES VALDEZ (July 31, 1999 – March 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:47 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
