Former Notre Dame Offensive Lineman, 35, Dies While Running 💉
The very fit Paul Duncan has unexpectedly passed away.
His wife Ellen posted on Instagram the announcement of his passing and cause of death.
Yesterday, Friday July 15th, Paul went into cardiac arrest while on a run in our neighborhood. Today he was pronounced brain dead. We will have a medical examination to understand cause of death.
The Notre Dame football program extended their condolences on Twitter on Tuesday.
Our prayers go out to the family and friends of Paul Duncan.

After graduating from Notre Dame, the Georgia native briefly spent some time in the NFL with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent.
At the time of his death, Duncan was working in the Atlanta area for the Walsh Group, a construction management firm that posted about a vaccine clinic for their workers in Pittsburgh in April 2021.

Duncan leaves behind two children with his wife. His daughters are Dillon, 6, and Sloane, 4.
