Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Floyd McMillan.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

Other Significant Condition: Medical History of Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:38 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
