(L.A.) Fernando Robledo Dominguez, 22, Died From a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Fernando Robledo Dominguez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

RIP FERNANDO ROBLEDO DOMINGUEZ (December 2, 2001 – January 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:18 p.m.

The decedent ws fatally shot while throwing out trash in an unincorporated county neighborhood near Pico Rivera.

L.A. County Sheriff’s Department had received a call about gunshots in the 5700 block of Esperanza Avenue at around 10 p.m. The shooting appears to have been gang-related.

The victim did not live at the home but was visiting friends, authorities said. He took trash to a dumpster at nearby Amigo Park, and while he was walking along the street to return to the house he was shot.
