(L.A.) Fernando Garcia, 51, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Fernando Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP FERNANDO GARCIA (April 12, 1973 – March 24, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Fernando Garcia” in public records.
