(L.A.) Fernando Delgado Garcia, 57, Died at a Public Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Latino male that occurred at a public park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Fernando Delgado Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Other Significant Conditions: Coronary Artery Disease, Hypertrophic Heart Disease

LAPD responded at around 5:00. p.m. to MacArthur Park in the Westlake District, between Koreatown and downtown L.A.

The decedent was found floating in the lake. He still had a backpack on.
