Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Latino male that occurred at a homeless shelter.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Fernando Cuaxiloa.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Probable Epilepsy

RIP FERNANDO CUAXILOA (September 21, 1964 – May 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:21 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 31, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
