(L.A.) Faridun Abduvakhobov, 41, Died on the 10 Fwy

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old male that occurred on the San Bernardino Freeway in Claremont.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Faridun Abduvakhobov and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

The decedent’s name appears to be Central Asian, likely Uzbek, possibly Tajik.

California Highway Patrol said the decedent was a passenger in a gray Toyota Camry that was involved in a multi-vehicle crash. After the collision, he exited the car and was then hit by the trailer of big-rig truck.

This happened at around 5:10 a.m. on the eastbound freeway just west of South Indian Hill Boulevard.
