(L.A.) Evangelina Jimenez, 32, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Evangelina Jimenez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone and Codeine

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus Type II, Lupus and End-Stage Renal Disease

RIP EVANGELINA JIMENEZ (August 18, 1991 – February 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The government investigator had initially misspelled the decedent’s forename as Evangalina before later correcting it to Evangelina.
