(L.A.) Estefanny Guerra, 19, Died on the Harbor Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on the Harbor (110) Freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Stephanie Guerra.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

The decedent’s body has been released.

* On the evening of April 9, the ME/C corrected the decedent’s forename from Stephanie to Estefanny. The investigator handling the case is Kristy McCracken.

Along with another woman, Guerra was killed when they were ejected from a vehicle during a single-vehicle crash on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.

Her fellow decedent was 18-year-old Ashley Salinas.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at 1:40 a.m. Thursday to the freeway and Gage Avenue where they found the vehicle on its side.

The car had slammed into a freeway embankment before flipping onto its side.

Guerra and Salinas were declared dead at the scene. We do not know who was driving.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:00 a.m.
