(L.A.) Ernest Trujillo, 65, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ernest Trujillo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Hepatitis B; Effects of Alprazolam, Diazepam, and Heroin

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental overdose.
