Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eric Uller.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Hanging

RIP ERIC ULLER (September 1, 1968 – November 15, 2018)

The decedent was an employee of the city of Santa Monica when he was arrested in 2018 on allegations that he had been molesting boys as far back as the late 1980s. He had been considered a top systems analyst.

By 2013, Santa Monica City Council had approved nearly $230 million to resolve legal claims brought against the city over Uller’s actions.
