Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Enrique Garfias Correa.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Effects

RIP ENRIQUE GARFIAS CORREA (May 12, 1958 – July 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:06 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
