(L.A.) Emmanuel David, 61, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Emmanuel David.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP EMMANUEL DAVID (August 17, 1963 – December 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:13 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent may have been of Filipino descent.
