(L.A.) Elyssa Fresquez, 21, Died on the 210 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on the Foothill Freeway in Sunland.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Elyssa Fresquez.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

California Highway Patrol received the first call about this freeway accident at 2:13 a.m.

The decedent was in a Toyota Prius that rear-ended a big rig. The driver of the large truck seemed unaware he was hit by the sedan, which had become stuck to the back of his vehicle.

Incident location was the westbound 210 just east of Sunland.
