Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred on a patio.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Elmer Oliva Aguilar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

RIP ELMER OLIVA AGUILAR (January 23, 1984 – April 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 30.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. He drank too much in one go.
