(L.A.) Eduardo Valera, 25, Died on a Metro Bus

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred on a Metro bus.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Eduardo Valera.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Dilated Cardiomyopathy, History of Schizophrenia

RIP EDUARDO VALERA (January 25, 1999 – June 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:03 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
