Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Earle Sherman, resident of Siros Way in Oceanside, California.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Incarcerated Inguinal Hernia

Cause of Death B: Severe Aortic Stenosis

Cause of Death C: Parkinson’s Disease

The decedent expired at Providence Saint John’s Health Center, whose address is 2121 Santa Monica Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90404.

An incarcerated inguinal hernia is a hernia that becomes stuck in the groin or scrotum and cannot be massaged back into the abdomen. It is caused by swelling and can lead to a strangulated hernia, in which the blood supply to the incarcerated small intestine is jeopardized.
