(L.A.) Ean Moody, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Ean Moody of Palmdale.
Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Turner.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity
Other Significant Condition: Chronic Alcohol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
In a separate news story on August 24, two men were found inside a white Toyota Corolla down a ravine off Mt. Emma Road after having been missing since August 18. Those men were identified as Richard Ulloa (30) and Jeffrey Chavez (43).
