(L.A.) Duncan McKenzie-McHarg, 41, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Duncan McKenzie-McHarg.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:38 p.m.

The decedent was an Australian sports broadcaster and media director based in Southern California. He had just recently covered the U.S. Open.

He apparently jumped off the top of a building in the area of 820 Olive Street in downtown L.A. and ended up on a lower roof. The structure at 820 Olive is also known as 825 South Hill.
