Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Black male that occurred at a bus stop.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Douglas Patton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypothermia

Other Significant Conditions: Methamphetamine Use; Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:48 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May.
