(L.A.) Donyea Richardson, 44, Died at a Transient Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black male that occurred at a transient encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Donyea Richardson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP DONYEA RICHARDSON (December 21, 1978 – February 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:16 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
