(L.A.) Diego Garcia, 33, Died at a Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred at a motel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Diego Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP DIEGO GARCIA (September 28, 1991 – October 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early February, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
