Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old female of Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Diane Papay, resident of Rome Drive in the 90065.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Multiple Organ Failure
Cause of Death B: Chronic Alcohol Liver Disease
Other Significant Conditions: Hypothermia; Systemic Atherosclerosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:31 p.m.
The decent was declared deceased at LAC + USC Medical Center, whose address is 2051 Marengo Street, Los Angeles, 90033. That’s about five miles from her stated residence.
This was classified as an accident instead of a natural death, presumably because it was the hypothermia that precipitated the death.
