(L.A.) Devonte White, 16, Died from an Accidental Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence in North Hills.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Devonte White.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:56 a.m.

The incident was reported to LAPD just after 1:30 a.m. from an apartment at 15532 Nordhoff Street. That’s the address of Woodland Terrace Apartments in the 91343 area of North Hills.
