(L.A.) Deshon Green, 53, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred on a beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Deshon Green.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Other Significant Conditions: Multiple Substance Intoxication (Ethanol, Phencyclidine), Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:07 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
