Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Derrick Mack.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DERRICK MACK (January 1, 1965 – March 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:37 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 17.
