The coroner’s office identified the man as Dennis Ricketts. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

The decedent put himself in the path of a freight train near the intersection of San Fernando Road and California Avenue, just south of the Ventura (134) Freeway, at around 2:00 a.m.
