(L.A.) Dennis Austin, 65, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dennis Austin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Heroin and Fentanyl

Other Significant Condition: Medical History of Hypertension

RIP DENNIS AUSTIN (July 22, 1958 – November 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The decedent had a hip injury and mobility issues due to a motor-vehicle accident that happened approximately five years ago.
