(L.A.) Demar Sandoval, 33, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Demar Sandoval.

Height: 5 feet 7 inches / Weight: 180 pounds

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:04 p.m.

The decedent was a missing person. He was last seen by his roommate on February 14 in Pomona. He left on foot between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. near Holt Avenue by the 71 Freeway, supposedly without taking any personal belongings. It is unclear now whether he actually was carrying a gun at the time. His body was found near his home.
