Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Black male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Delvon Oakman.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP DELVON OAKMAN (March 20, 2000 – December 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:29 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 14, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
