Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Dawn Matthews.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Alcohol and Cigarette Use

RIP DAWN MATTHEWS (June 25, 1961 – May 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:06 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 7.
