Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Massey.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Diabetes

RIP DAVID MASSEY (June 12, 1967 – August 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:25 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
