Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Hixson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DAVID HIXSON (April 20, 1961 – May 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 7:25 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
