Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a bathroom.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Hathaway.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP DAVID HATHAWAY (May 29, 1981 – February 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:55 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
