(L.A.) David Eduardo Garcia Munoz, 30, Died at a Freeway Off-Ramp

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred at a freeway off-ramp.

The coroner’s office identified the man as David Eduardo Garcia Munoz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made late Tuesday night, at 11:49 p.m.

Incident Location: Route 110 North / West Pico Blvd

The decedent’s body was spotted by a passerby at 11:38 p.m. The passerby did not witness a traffic collision. Based on the decedent’s injuries, one can assume that the decedent had been hit by a vehicle.

Caltrans was able to reopen the area at around 1:47 a.m.
