(L.A.) David Berry, 63, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Berry.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine

RIP DAVID BERRY (1961 – August 23, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
