Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Basilisa Acosta.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Multiorgan Failure

Cause of Death B: Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Cause of Death C: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, History of Deep Vein Thrombosis, Non-Specific Gastrointestinal Obstruction

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 28.
