Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darrius Maclemore.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine (Clinical)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

According to an online fundraiser, the decedent had broken his neck.
