(L.A.) Danilo Garcia Jr., 46, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Danilo Garcia Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Coronary Artery Disease

RIP DANILO GARCIA JR. (August 18, 1978 – January 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent may have been of Filipino descent.
