(L.A.) Daniel Ramirez, 17, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Latino male that occurred at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Daniel Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday night.

The decedent was shot at around 8:15 p.m. in the 8700 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, near Parthenia Street, in North Hills.

The Valley Section of the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is overseeing the investigation.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Daniel Ramirez” in public records.
